Paediatric blast injury field manual

Children suffer in conflict zones. There are multiple challenges to overcome for doctors treating a blast-injured child, including:

  • responding doctors often do not specialise in traumatic injuries or paediatrics, let alone both at the same time

  • medical facilities in war zones have limited access to resources

  • treatment outside of primary care (such as rehabilitation and psychosocial support) may be overlooked.

The Paediatric Blast Injury Field Manual was written by doctors to provide technical guidance for those with medical training, so they may better treat traumatic injuries in children. I designed it to be concise, easily navigable, and intuitively understandable.
